Sipu Village
Sipu Village is the last inhabited settlement in Darma Valley, located in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand near the Indo-Tibetan border. Situated at a high altitude, it serves as a gateway to the Panchachuli peaks and surrounding glaciers. The village is home to the indigenous Bhotiya (Rung) community, known for their traditional trans-Himalayan trade heritage. Visitors experience remote mountain life through homestays, trekking routes, and panoramic views of the Kumaon Himalayas.
