Sariyatal

Sariyatal is an artificial lake located approximately 6-8 kilometers from Nainital on the Kaladhungi Road in Uttarakhand. The jade-green freshwater lake is fed by a mountain stream and is surrounded by serene natural landscapes. It features a Himalayan Botanical Garden managed by the Uttarakhand Forest Department, which serves as a research center with herbarium, orchidarium, and butterfly park. The lake offers paddle boating, water zorbing, and photography opportunities in a tranquil setting.
