Vivekananda Ashram Shyamlatal

Vivekananda Ashram Shyamlatal is a spiritual retreat center established in 1915 by Swami Virajananda, a direct monastic disciple of Swami Vivekananda. Located at the bank of Shyamlatal Lake in the Himalayas at 1500 meters altitude, this ashram serves as a center for meditation, study, and spiritual practice within the Ramakrishna tradition. The ashram also provides free medical services to the local community through its dispensary.
