Auli Artificial Lake
Auli Artificial Lake is one of the highest man-made lakes in the world, situated at approximately 3,050 meters above sea level in the Garhwal Himalayas. Created by the Uttarakhand government to supply water for artificial snowmaking on ski slopes during periods of low natural snowfall, the lake has become a notable tourist attraction. Surrounded by snow-clad peaks including Nanda Devi and Kamet, it offers serene views and panoramic mountain vistas.
