Maiktoli Base Camp
Maiktoli Base Camp is a high-altitude camping and trekking destination located in the Sunderdhunga Valley of the Kumaon Himalayas in Uttarakhand, India. Situated at an altitude of approximately 4,100 to 4,330 meters, it serves as the base for viewing the majestic Maiktoli Peak (6,803m) and Panwali Dwar. The camp is characterized by a large glacial field bounded by towering peaks, offering panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan range. Accessible only via a challenging multi-day trek from Khati village, it provides a remote wilderness experience with pristine alpine meadows and glaciers.
