Ganga Mahal Ghat
Ganga Mahal Ghat is a historic riverfront ghat on the eastern bank of the Ganges in southern Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, located just north of Assi Ghat. Built in 1830 as an extension of Assi Ghat by the Narayan dynasty of Benares, it is dominated by the Ganga Mahal palace. The ghat is noted for its heritage architecture, relatively quiet atmosphere compared to central ghats, and its role within the continuous stretch of Varanasi ghats.
