Patalpuri Temple

Patalpuri Temple is an ancient underground Hindu temple located inside the Prayagraj Fort (Allahabad Fort) at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Situated below ground level within the fort complex near the Yamuna River, it is known for its small shrine, wooden idols and association with the sacred Akshayavat tree. The temple is a significant pilgrimage site and is accessible only through the fort, which is administered by the Indian Army.
