Mukteshwar Mahadev Temple

Mukteshwar Mahadev Temple is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located in Garhmukteshwar, Hapur district, Uttar Pradesh, on the banks of the Ganga River. Situated on a small hillock near Brijghat, it houses a Shiva Lingam and is one of the prominent pilgrimage sites in the region. The temple is associated with legends from the Mahabharata period and attracts devotees especially during Maha Shivratri and Kartik Purnima.
