Bateshwar Temples
Bateshwar Temples is a cluster of about 101 white sandstone Shiva temples located on the banks of the Yamuna River at Bateshwar village in Agra district, Uttar Pradesh, about 70 km southeast of Agra. Built between the 8th and 11th centuries and later restored by the Bhadawar rulers, the temples are known for their shikharas, riverside ghats and annual religious fair, forming an important Shaivite pilgrimage centre in the Braj region.
