Tirthamukh Pilgrimage Site
Tirthamukh is a revered Hindu pilgrimage site at Tirthamukh village in Amarpur subdivision, Gomati District, Tripura, at the confluence of the Raima and Sarma rivers where the Gomati River originates. Located about 90 km from Agartala, it is known for the annual Poush Sankranti (Makar Sankranti) fair in January when thousands of pilgrims take a holy dip. The site combines religious significance with a scenic river valley surrounded by forested hills.
