Pangal Fort

Pangal Fort is a historic hill fort located in Pangal village of Wanaparthy District, Telangana. Built by the Kalyani Chalukya Kings during the 11th and 12th centuries, this sprawling fortress extends across hundreds of acres and features seven massive gateways. The fort showcases medieval military architecture with granite walls following hill contours, rock-cut water cisterns, and architectural ruins including Uyyala Mandapam.
