Manjeera Reservoir
Manjeera Reservoir is a man-made water body located approximately 7 kilometers from Sangareddy town in Telangana. Originally established as a crocodile sanctuary in 1974 to protect the vulnerable mugger crocodile species, it has since evolved into a wildlife sanctuary and reservoir. The dam serves as a crucial source of drinking water for Hyderabad and Secunderabad cities while also functioning as an important tourist destination featuring an Environmental Education Centre and crocodile breeding pond.
