Sri Shivaganga Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam
The Sri Shivaganga Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi, located in Maheshwaram village of Ranga Reddy district, Telangana. The temple is uniquely situated on an island in the center of a sacred pond called Shivaganga, with a distinctive two-tier structure. Believed to be constructed approximately 1000 years ago by King Ganapathi Deva of the Kakatiya dynasty, it features a naturally formed Shiva Lingam from the Narmada River and sixteen surrounding small Shiva temples.
