Jatprole Heritage Temples
Jatprole Heritage Temples is a unique site in Nagarkurnool district housing over 25 ancient temples relocated from the Krishna River valley during the construction of Srisailam Dam. The complex features the prominent 16th-century Madana Gopala Swamy Temple and numerous Shiva temples dating back to the 10th century. These structures showcase Vijayanagara architectural styles with intricately carved pillars and mandapas. The site preserves significant religious heritage that would otherwise have been submerged.
