Auroville Beach

Auroville Beach is a sandy shoreline near Bommayapalayam in Vanur Taluk, Villupuram District, Tamil Nadu, close to the experimental township of Auroville and about 12 km north of Puducherry. Known for its relatively shallow waters, dark golden sand and quieter atmosphere compared to city beaches, it attracts visitors for sunrise views, walks and relaxed coastal scenery along the Bay of Bengal on the East Coast Road.
