Mutharamman Temple

Mutharamman Temple is a prominent Hindu Shakti temple located in the coastal town of Kulasekarapattinam in Thoothukudi District, Tamil Nadu, on the shores of the Bay of Bengal. Dedicated to Goddess Mutharamman, a form of Shakti, the temple is about 300 years old and is renowned for its 12-day Dasara festival during Navratri, when lakhs of devotees gather dressed as various deities.
