Kuchanur Saneeswarar Temple

Kuchanur Saneeswarar Temple is a prominent Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Saneeswarar (Shani/Saturn) located in Kuchanur village, Theni district, Tamil Nadu, on the banks of the Surabhi River. Unlike most Navagraha shrines where Shani is a subsidiary deity, here he is the presiding deity. The temple is known for its self-manifested idol and draws large numbers of devotees, especially on Saturdays, seeking relief from adverse planetary influences.
