Suryanar Temple

Suryanar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Surya, the Sun God, located in Suryanar Koil near Kumbakonam in Thanjavur District, Tamil Nadu. It is one of the Navagraha temples and the only temple where all nine planetary deities are present with separate shrines. Built during the Chola period in the 11th-12th century, the temple features Dravidian architecture, a five-tiered rajagopuram, and is notable for its religious importance to devotees seeking astrological remedies.
