Vaitheeswaran Temple
Vaitheeswaran Temple is a major Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva as Vaidyanathar, the healer of diseases, located in Vaitheeswaran Koil town in Mayiladuthurai District, Tamil Nadu. It is one of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams and a Navagraha sthalam associated with Mars (Angarakan). The temple is known for its Dravidian architecture, sacred Siddhamirtham tank, and its long association with traditional Nadi astrology practiced in the town.
