Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple
Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple is a historic rock-cut Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Murugan located in Thiruparankundram, about 8 km southwest of Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Carved into a hillock, it is one of the six sacred abodes of Murugan (Arupadai Veedu) and is renowned for its cave shrines, mandapas and sculptures dating to the Pandya era. The temple is traditionally associated with the marriage of Murugan and Deivanai and remains a major pilgrimage centre.
