Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple
Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple at Srirangam in Tiruchirappalli is one of the largest functioning Hindu temple complexes in the world, dedicated to Lord Ranganatha, a reclining form of Vishnu. Located on an island between the Kaveri and Kollidam rivers, it covers about 156 acres with seven concentric enclosures and 21 gopurams, including the 72-metre Rajagopuram. Revered as the foremost of the 108 Divya Desams, it showcases Dravidian architecture developed over centuries.
