Sangameswarar Temple
Sangameswarar Temple is a Hindu Shiva temple located at Kooduthurai in Bhavani, Erode District, Tamil Nadu, at the confluence (sangamam) of the Kaveri and Bhavani rivers and the mythical Amudha river. Revered as Thirunana and one of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams, it features Dravidian architecture with a five-tier gopuram and is a major pilgrimage centre for devotees performing ancestral rites at the Triveni Sangam.
