Hogenakkal Coracle Boating Area

Hogenakkal Coracle Boating Area is the designated boarding point for traditional round bamboo coracle (parisal) rides on the Kaveri River at Hogenakkal in Dharmapuri district, Tamil Nadu, near the Karnataka border. Located within the Hogenakkal Falls complex, it allows visitors to navigate the river gorge, rocky islets and base of the waterfalls. The site is notable for its distinctive coracles, carbonatite rock formations and scenic river landscape.
