Anamalai Tiger Reserve's Topslip sector is a protected forest area in the Anamalai Hills of the Western Ghats near Sethumadai in Coimbatore District, Tamil Nadu. Part of the larger Anamalai Tiger Reserve spanning Tamil Nadu and Kerala, it is known for its dense evergreen forests, rich biodiversity including tigers, elephants and endemic birds, and eco-tourism activities such as jeep safaris and elephant camp visits managed by the Tamil Nadu Forest Department.

Mudumalai Tiger Reserve

Mudumalai Tiger Reserve is a protected tiger reserve and wildlife sanctuary in the Nilgiris District of Tamil Nadu, on the Tamil Nadu-Karnataka-Kerala border along the Ooty-Mysore highway. Established in 1940 as one of India's first wildlife sanctuaries and declared a tiger reserve in 2007, it covers about 321 sq km of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. It is known for its deciduous forests, diverse wildlife including tigers, elephants and leopards, and safari-based tourism.

Topslip

Topslip is a scenic forest settlement located in the Anamalai Hills of Coimbatore district, Tamil Nadu, within the Anamalai Tiger Reserve near Sethumadai and Pollachi. Situated at about 800 metres elevation, it serves as a gateway to the Western Ghats rainforests. Known for its dense evergreen forests, wildlife, trekking trails and viewpoints, it is managed by the Tamil Nadu Forest Department and is notable for elephant camps and biodiversity.
