Matsya Narayana Temple
Matsya Narayana Temple is a Hindu temple located at Uthandi on the East Coast Road in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Dedicated to Lord Matsya, the first avatar of Lord Vishnu, it is one of the few temples in India dedicated to this incarnation. Built in traditional South Indian Dravidian architecture using granite, the temple is noted for its large Matsya idol, coastal setting near the Bay of Bengal, and serene spiritual environment.
