Nathang Valley
Nathang Valley is a high-altitude valley located at about 13,500 feet in Pakyong district, East Sikkim, along the historic Old Silk Route connecting India and Tibet. Surrounded by snow-covered mountains and alpine meadows, it is known for its seasonal snow cover, yak grazing grounds, and panoramic Himalayan views. The sparsely populated valley serves as a stopover between Zuluk and Kupup and is noted for its stark, treeless landscape and cold desert-like terrain.
