Chenrezig Statue and Skywalk
The Chenrezig Statue and Skywalk is a prominent tourist complex near Pelling in Gyalshing district, Sikkim. It features a 137-foot bronze-gilded statue of Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara) and India's first glass skywalk. Opened in 2018, the site is located at an altitude of about 7,200 feet overlooking the Teesta and Rangit valleys. It offers panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga range and combines religious art with modern engineering.
