Jagdish Temple
Jagdish Temple is a large Hindu temple in the heart of Udaipur's old city, near the City Palace. Built in 1651 by Maharana Jagat Singh I, this three-story structure showcases Indo-Aryan (Maru-Gurjara) architecture with intricate stone carvings and ornate pillars. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu worshipped as Jagannath, the temple features a black stone idol and has been in continuous worship since its construction.
