Birdworld Kuranda
Birdworld Kuranda is a walk-through aviary attraction located in the Heritage Markets at Kuranda in the Shire of Mareeba, Queensland, about 25 km northwest of Cairns. Set within tropical rainforest surroundings, it houses more than 350 birds representing around 60 species, including Australian natives and exotic parrots. Notable for its free-flight environment where birds fly unrestricted, it offers close-up viewing, feeding opportunities and educational displays about bird conservation.
