National Martyrs Memorial
The National Martyrs Memorial at Hussainiwala in Firozpur district, Punjab, stands on the banks of the Sutlej River near the India-Pakistan border. It marks the cremation site of freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on 23 March 1931, and later Batukeshwar Dutt. The complex features memorial pillars, statues, a museum and an eternal flame, and hosts a daily flag-lowering ceremony by the Border Security Force.
