Gurdwara Santokhsar Sahib
Gurdwara Santokhsar Sahib is a historic Sikh shrine in central Amritsar, Punjab, located a short distance from Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple). Built around the Santokhsar Sarovar, one of five sacred tanks excavated under Guru Arjan Dev in 1587-1588, it marks the lake of contentment. The white marble gurdwara with its large sarovar, prayer hall and langar is revered by Sikhs and visited for prayer, circumambulation and heritage sightseeing.
