De Djawatan Forest
De Djawatan Forest is a protected forest attraction in Benculuk village, Cluring, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java. It is known for its dense grove of giant trembesi (rain trees, Samanea saman) planted during the Dutch colonial era, with trees estimated to be over 100 years old. The shaded, cool woodland with massive trunks and wide canopies has become a popular nature tourism site for photography and leisurely walks, often likened to the forest from The Lord of the Rings.
