Shri Swami Samarth Maharaj Mandir
Shri Swami Samarth Maharaj Mandir is a prominent Hindu pilgrimage site in Akkalkot, Maharashtra, dedicated to the 19th-century saint Swami Samarth, believed to be an incarnation of Lord Dattatreya. The temple complex is built around the sacred Vatavruksha banyan tree where the saint meditated and taught for over two decades until his Mahasamadhi in 1878. It houses the Samadhi shrine, a life-size idol of the saint, and offers daily rituals and free meals to devotees.
