Nana Phadnavis Wada
Nana Phadnavis Wada is a restored 18th-century mansion located in Menavali village near Wai, Maharashtra, on the banks of the Krishna River. Constructed in the 1770s by Nana Phadnavis, the chief administrator of the Maratha Empire, it is a rare intact example of Peshwa-era architecture combining a residence, ghat, and temples. The fortified structure features six courtyards, wooden ceilings, cypress pillars, and historic murals. It remains owned by descendants and serves as a heritage site showcasing Maratha history and culture.
