Kadyavarcha Ganpati Temple
Kadyavarcha Ganpati Temple is a historic Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Ganesha, located atop a cliff in Anjarle village, Ratnagiri district, Maharashtra. Originally believed to be built around 1150 AD and relocated to its current hilltop site between 1768 and 1780 due to coastal erosion, the temple features a unique right-trunked black stone idol known as Ujavya Sondecha Ganpati. It offers panoramic views of the Arabian Sea, Suvarnadurg Fort, and surrounding coconut plantations, making it a significant pilgrimage and tourist destination in Konkan.
