Revdanda Beach
Revdanda Beach is a coastal stretch located in Revdanda village near Alibaug in the Raigad district of Maharashtra. Situated at the mouth of the Kundalika River where it meets the Arabian Sea, the beach is distinguished by its black volcanic sand and proximity to the historic 16th-century Portuguese Revdanda Fort. It remains largely uncommercialized compared to nearby beaches, offering a peaceful environment characterized by fishing village life, coconut groves, and heritage structures rather than water sports or commercial shacks.
