Babulnath Temple
Babulnath Temple is an ancient Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated on a hillock near Girgaum Chowpatty in Mumbai. Dating back to the 12th century under King Bhimdev, it houses a Swayambhu Shivling discovered by a cowherd named Babul. The temple was reconstructed in 1836 and features traditional Solanki-style architecture with carved pillars. It remains one of Mumbai’s oldest and most revered religious sites, offering views of the Arabian Sea.
