Kachargadh Caves
Kachargadh Caves are a series of ancient natural caves located in the Salekasa tehsil of Gondia district, Maharashtra. Estimated to be approximately 25,000 years old, they are among the few natural caves in the state and an important Paleolithic archaeological site. The caves hold profound cultural significance as the spiritual origin place for the Gond tribes and serve as a traditional annual gathering site for Gond community leaders. The main cave measures roughly 55 meters by 34 meters with a height of 17 meters.
