Ram Ghat
Ram Ghat is the most prominent bathing ghat on the Shipra River in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, located near the city centre. It is the main venue for the Simhastha Kumbh Mela held every 12 years and for daily Shipra Aarti. Revered as a sacred site where devotees take holy dips, the ghat features wide stone steps leading to the river, temples and shrines along its banks, and is closely associated with the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga pilgrimage circuit.
