Kal Bhairav Temple

Kal Bhairav Temple is a prominent Hindu temple dedicated to Kal Bhairav, regarded as the guardian deity of Ujjain, located in Bhairavgarh about 6 km from Ujjain city centre in Madhya Pradesh. Situated on the banks of the Shipra River, it is one of the Ashta Bhairav temples and is famous for the unique tradition of offering liquor to the deity. The temple exhibits Malwa-style architecture and attracts devotees and tourists throughout the year.
