Bagh Caves
Bagh Caves are a group of nine rock-cut Buddhist caves located near Bagh town in Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh, on the bank of the Baghani River in the Vindhya Range. Dating to the 5th-6th century during the Gupta period, they are renowned for their mural paintings comparable to Ajanta. Only five caves survive in good condition, with Cave 2 (Pandava Cave) and Cave 4 (Rang Mahal) being the most significant.
