Sani Lake
Sani Lake is a small natural high-altitude lake located in Sani village in the Zanskar Valley of Kargil district, Ladakh. Situated adjacent to the historic Sani Monastery, it lies at an elevation of around 3,600 metres amid arid mountains and meadows. The lake is noted for its calm waters, scenic setting, and association with the ancient Buddhist monastery nearby, making it a quiet stop for visitors exploring Zanskar.
