Turtuk Balti Heritage Museum
The Turtuk Balti Heritage Museum is a small community-run museum in Turtuk village in Nubra Valley, Ladakh. Housed in a traditional Balti stone-and-wood house, it preserves and displays everyday artifacts, utensils, clothing and heirlooms of the Balti community. It is notable for offering insight into Balti culture, lifestyle and heritage of India's northernmost village near the Shyok River.
