Indus-Zanskar River Confluence
The Indus-Zanskar River Confluence, known locally as Sangam, is the meeting point of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers at Nimmu village, about 35 km west of Leh in Ladakh. The two rivers are distinctly visible due to differing colours, especially in winter and summer. Located on the Leh-Srinagar Highway, it is a prominent natural attraction and viewpoint offering open Himalayan landscapes and is a starting point for river rafting.
