Markha Valley

Markha Valley is a high-altitude Himalayan valley located within Hemis National Park in Leh district, Ladakh, India. Centered around the Markha River and Markha village, it is renowned as one of Ladakh's most popular trekking routes. The valley features arid landscapes, snow-capped peaks including Kang Yatse, Buddhist monasteries and chortens, and traditional Ladakhi villages. It offers scenic trekking, wildlife sightings and cultural experiences in a remote trans-Himalayan setting.
