Kun Peak is a 7,077-metre Himalayan summit in the Nun Kun massif of the Zanskar Range in Suru Valley, Kargil district, Ladakh, near Tangole village. Nandanvan is a high-altitude alpine meadow located near the Gangotri Glacier in Gangotri National Park, Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand. Situated at around 4,340 metres opposite Tapovan and at the base of the Bhagirathi massif, it offers views of Shivling, Bhagirathi peaks and the glacier. Parkachik Village is a small Himalayan settlement in Suru Valley, Kargil district, Ladakh, situated on the banks of the Suru River along the Kargil-Padum road. It is best known as the closest village to the Parkachik Glacier and for its panoramic views of the Nun Kun twin peaks. The village features traditional Balti houses, barley fields and alpine surroundings, serving as a scenic stopover for travelers heading toward Zanskar.
Pensi La is a high mountain pass at about 4,400 metres on the Kargil-Padum Road connecting the Suru Valley with the Zanskar Valley in Ladakh. Located about 70 km from Rangdum, it is known for panoramic views of the Zanskar Range and the Drang-Drung Glacier, one of the largest glaciers in Ladakh. The pass marks the watershed between the Suru and Zanskar regions and is a key stop on the route to Padum.
