Peechi Dam
Peechi Dam is a masonry dam built across the Manali River in Thrissur district, Kerala. Commissioned in 1957, it was constructed primarily for irrigation and drinking water supply to Thrissur town. The dam creates a reservoir spanning approximately 3,200 acres and features landscaped gardens, a children's park, and boating facilities. Located about 22-23 km from Thrissur city, it serves as a popular picnic destination with scenic views of the surrounding hills and forests.
