Thiruvananthapuram Zoo

Thiruvananthapuram Zoo is one of India's oldest zoological parks, established in 1859 and spanning 55 acres in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram city. The zoo houses 82 species of animals including Royal Bengal Tigers, Asiatic Lions, Indian Rhinoceros, and various exotic birds and reptiles. Set amidst woodland, lakes, and lawns, it combines wildlife conservation with recreational facilities and is part of a larger museum complex.
