Kampung Baru
Kampung Baru is a historic Malay settlement in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, established in 1899-1900 as the Malay Agricultural Settlement. Located just northwest of the Petronas Twin Towers, it preserves traditional Malay wooden houses on stilts amid a modern cityscape. Notable for its authentic Malay cuisine, weekly night market, and cultural heritage, it offers visitors a contrast between village life and the surrounding high-rise skyline.
