Chendamangalam Synagogue
The Chendamangalam Synagogue is a former Orthodox Jewish synagogue located in the village of Chendamangalam in Kerala's Ernakulam district. Originally completed in 1420 CE and rebuilt in 1614, it is one of the oldest synagogues in the Commonwealth of Nations. Now maintained as the Kerala Jews Lifestyle Museum under the Muziris Heritage Project, it showcases Jewish customs, artifacts, and cultural heritage. The site is notable for its unique location near a Hindu temple, church, and mosque within close proximity.
